Henry Sibley to perform in Washington D.C. Fourth of July Parade

Photo: Henry Sibley Marching Band Performing in the Alexandria ParadeThe Henry Sibley High School Marching Band has been invited to perform in America’s National Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C., on July 4, 2018, as the official representative of the state of Minnesota.

The annual parade takes place on Constitution Avenue before hundreds of thousands of spectators and is televised to millions more.

This is not the first time Henry Sibley has represented Minnesota in the America’s National Independence Day Parade. The band also performed at the event in 1984, 1988 and 1992.
