During this event, students and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to complete several start-of-the-year tasks.

REGISTER FOR FEEPAY – Complete items 1, 5 and 6 from home!

Paying and registering online is easy
Step 1: Click on the link to FeePayTM. (www.sibley.isd197.org
Step 2: Set up your FeePayTM account.  (Be sure to use your students ID number.)
Step 3: Choose your activities or other items, completing and signing electronically any required forms.
Step 4: Go to your shopping cart and complete your purchase. You will receive an immediate confirmation by e-mail that your payment has been received. You can also print out a receipt. 
Please note, any of the tasks listed below that include “FeePay” can be done at home on your personal computer or device. Computers will not be available for registering during Sibley Start-Up Day.

1. STUDENT SPORTS PASSES FeePayAthletic Office with questions
A Sports Pass - $30.00 will give you entrance to all regular season, home sporting events.  Without a Sports Pass, you will pay $4.00 per game.  Purchase through FeePay online.

Pay this before your photo ID card is printed.

All students participating in Athletics or Activities must complete one Eligibility Form per year.  
First day of Fall Sports practice is Monday, August 15.

2. PHOTOS1st Floor Cafeteria
All students in grades 9-11 and new 12th grade Sibley students (who did not attend in 2015-2016) must have their photo taken for a Student ID.  Seniors who attended Sibley last year will get their pre-printed ID cards in September.

To order photos, complete an order form and give it to the photographer with payment.  Make checks payable to “Lifetouch Studios”.

To order online, visit www.mylifetouch.com and enter the Picture Day ID: MI196065Y0.

Students are not required to purchase a picture package but must have a Sibley ID made.

Locker numbers are listed on the student’s schedule.
Student schedules are not available before Sibley Start-Up Day.  If you do not have a schedule, please see the Guidance Office.  If you do not have a locker listed, please see the Main Office with the schedule in hand.

4. COUNSELING DEPARTMENT2nd Floor, next to Main Office
The Counseling Department will provide career and college planning materials that will help guide students during their four years at Sibley, while also preparing them for options after high school.  Grade level checklists, four-year plans, options beyond high school and Minnesota Careers Guidebooks will be available. 5. PARKING PASSES & PADLOCKSFeePayMain Office with questions
Students who use the school parking lot need to purchase a parking pass.
Parking Pass costs:   1 semester = $110.00   Full Year = $200.00

Visit the school website at www.sibley.isd197.org,  FeePay, to pay for Parking Passes online.

Daily passes are $2.00/day and may be purchased in the Main Office each day before school.

Padlocks can be purchased online through FeePay or in the Main Office.  The cost is $5.00.  Students may choose to purchase their own.

Representatives from the District’s Child Nutrition Department will be available so students and parents/guardians may deposit money into accounts via cash or check, pick-up/drop-off applications for free and reduced meals and get the September menu.

Money can also be deposited into student accounts online through FeePay.
Meal prices are: $1.75 = Breakfast $2.90 = Lunch

7. EMPOWERED – New Students and 9th Grade Students1st Floor Cafeteria
Student use of own technology device or school-owned device.  Please fill out the form, if not filled out prior.  The form is located on the district website, www.isd197.org/empowered.

School District 197 has changed Student Information Systems and there will be a new parent portal replacing SchoolView.  When it’s released shortly after school starts, you will receive a sign-up link via e-mail.  Please be sure that we have a current/correct e-mail on file.  See the Guidance Office to add or update your contact information.

8. TRANSPORTATION 1st Floor Cafeteria
Register for district bus service at www.isd197.org/services/transportation/forms

Any student who is eligible and plans to ride the bus this school year must fill out a new registration form each year.

Students who have registered to use district transportation will be mailed information about their bus near the end of August.  Please contact the Transportation Office with any questions, 651-403-8320.  

A Parent/Guardian Meeting for 9th grade students and all students new to Sibley will be held at 6 pm following Sibley Start-Up Day.  This meeting is for parents only.  We look forward to meeting you!

Meetings for parents/guardians of students in grades 10-12 will be held on Tuesday, September 13, before or after the Sibley Open House.

Student supply lists for their classes are dependent on their individual schedule and teacher.  If necessary, teachers will e-mail supply lists to families before the start of school, otherwise, students will be given a supply list during the first week of classes.
