WHEN: 6:30-7:15 p.m. – informal reception in the lobby with light refreshments;

WHY: In November 2014, District 197 agreed to contribute $555,333 to help renovate John V. Hoene Ice Arena – home of both the Henry Sibley boys and girls hockey programs, as well as the Sibley Area Youth Hockey Association. The funding, when combined with equal contributions from the City of West St. Paul and the City of Mendota Heights, allowed for the replacement of outdated refrigeration systems, plumbing, roofing and electric lines. These renovations ensure that John V. Hoene Ice Arena will remain the home of Sibley hockey for many years to come.
