Photo: Ms. HowattI have been part of the Henry Sibley science team since 2015 and I am really glad to be here.  I come to teaching after working as an engineer at Ford Motor Company and spending time raising my children. I have a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech, and a Master's of Teaching from Hamline University. My goals for teaching include: sharing my passions for science and engineering, helping students gain skills for the future, and being a positive force in the classroom.

Physics is a great link between academics and the real world, so I hope to guide students to recognize those connections and to build a more complete view of their world (and the universe) for when they leave Henry Sibley to do great things.

I look forward to working with Henry Sibley students and families. Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments. My door and email inbox are always open.
