The Addams Family spring musical auditions will be today and tomorrow from 315 to 530. Sign up sheets are on the window of the choir room. Please sign up. Community Education is hiring Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors for our upcoming spring classes at Heritage Pool. Do you have Monday nights free? Are you WSI certified? Are you a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard? If interested please apply online on the District Website under "Employment Opportunities" Classes start March 2nd. Henry Sibley will be offering a girls lacrosse program this spring for the first time in the history of the school. On Tuesday, February 11th there will be an informational meeting after school at 3:15pm in the gymnastics gym for any girl interested in playing girls lacrosse. Any questions, please stop in the activities office. Come out and support the Girls Basketball Team on Tuesday, February 11th. It is Senior Night and also Relay for Life Night. All Sibley students get in free with their school ID. Come celebrate our three seniors – Hope Korte, SeSe Burks, and Jaelyn Orth while we also raise funds for the Relay for Life cause. Game time is 7 p.m. Are you participating in Open-Mic-Night? Please turn in your participation form and $5 to the Activities Office by Tuesday, February 11th, at 3 p.m. -- Check your email for your time slot -- For any questions, see Leah Erchul in the Counseling. If you're coming to watch, it's $3!! The Dance Team has advanced to the State Tournament for the 6th year in a row! This will be their 13th trip to State! HSDT will be competing in the Kick division on Saturday, 2/15 at 2:00pm! Take the light rail down to the Target Center to cheer on this amazing team of athletes! Attention all 9th grade boys who are interested in playing baseball this Spring. There will be an important informational meeting this Thursday, Feb 13, after school in Room A211. Attention all 9th grade boys interested in playing baseball this year. There will be a short informational sign up meeting next week on Thursday Feb 13 after school in room A211. Put in on your calendar, bring a friend and we will see you there. Any questions see Mr McCarthy or Mr Retka.

Students, come show your support at the girls Basketball game tonight. Play lighting during half-time -- all proceeds will go towards Relay for Life. 

If you're participating in Open-Mic-Night tonight, forms and a $5 registration fee are due today by 3 p.m. Look in your email for the time slot that you will be performing in.  If you have any questions contact Ms. Erchul or stop into her office.

Calling all Dodgeball players and teams, your form and money to participate in the Saturday tournament is due on Friday by NOON!  

During lunch, stop over at the Relay for Life table to set up your relay accounts, as well as purchase a relay for life shirt or sticker. Shirts are $10 and stickers are $2!! If you wear your Relay for Life shirt during the event on May 8th, you can put your name in for a drawing to win a $20 giftcard to Starbucks, Caribou, Coldstone, or Chipotle.  

Speaking of putting your name into a drawing, have you placed your vote on who will get a pie-in-the-face next month during the Relay for Life assembly? Will it be Mr. Monson, T.O., Officer Hilyar, Mrs. Lund, Mrs. Winter, or Mr. Skov? How it works is by money donations - whoever has the most money raised in their jar will be pied in the face !!

Seniors!! Today an email went out only to those who have NOT ordered their caps and gowns. Make sure you complete your survey by 1:30pm TOMORROW! If you don't have access to your email, stop by the Guidance Office and Mrs. Barbosa Brown has some paper copies you can fill out instead. 

Are you tired of the cold? Are you just plain tired of winter. There is a solution to your weariness. THINK BASEBALL!  While you’re thinking of baseball, and if you are a 9th grade boy, don’t forget to think about signing up for baseball TODAY after school in Room A211. Bring a friend and we will see you there. Any questions see Mr Retka, Mr McCarthy, Mr. Biczkowski or Mr. Karlen. 

Will you be participating in the Dodgeball Tournament THIS Saturday, February 15th (6-8 p.m.)? Your form and money MUST be turned in by Friday, February 14th at NOON. For any questions, see Leah Erchul in the Counseling Office. If you're coming to watch the tournament it's $2

Remember, your money from this event and all events this month can go towards your team or individual fundraising to stay the night on WARRIOR FIELD, May 8th. Register online through the QR code that you see around the school or on the Student Council Instagram.

Good luck to our top band, the Wind Ensemble as they perform at the MMEA tomorrow!

Ninth grade boys interested in playing baseball that missed yesterday's informational meeting should see Coach McCarthy in A211 to sign up and get the information that they missed.  

Students, today is the last day for you to turn in your Dodgeball money and participations forms. You forms and money MUST be turned in by NOON TODAY! 

During lunch today, stop over to the Relay for LIfe table and sign up for your team. Some delicious cotton candy will also be served for $5 !! The first Relay for Life event will be here before we know it. Remember, to stay the night on Warrior Field, you MUST register your team, have a chaperone, and raise $100.

Next week, Tuesday, February 18 Talent show auditions will be taking place. Don't forget to turn in your participation forms and money. Look for an email from Mrs. Erchul on when you are time will be to perform. It's important you are on time and ready to go!!

Any boys interested in playing volleyball this spring?  We will have open gyms on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m.!  Come in to learn some new skills and play for fun. Posters with information will be hung up next week! See Mrs. Naughton or Mr. Friberg for more details.

Applications for the Henry Sibley Dollars for Scholars scholarships are open now through March 1. These scholarships are for the graduating class of 2020. All Henry Sibley graduating seniors are eligible to apply.  Last year, 125 scholarships were awarded to Henry Sibley graduates totaling over $100,000.

Congrats to the Henry Sibley Speech team for placing first in the small school category at the Farmington Invitation this past weekend.

Warrior Track & Field will be hosting an informational meeting on Monday, Feb 24th at 3:15 in the FACS ROOM. New and returning athletes are invited to come and hear about the season, ask questions, meet the captains and see your teammates and coaches! Track and Field is a sport for everyone! We look forward to seeing you there! 

Attention to any boys or girls interested in participating in golf this Spring. There will be an informational meeting Wednesday 2/26 at 3:30. The boys meeting will be in coach Sebastian's room C311 and the girls meeting will be Coach Kienitz's room C313. Bring a friend. 

Due to conference E-Warriors will not be meeting tomorrow.

The theme for tomorrow is: HAT DAY! 

During lunch periods today, Relay for Life sticker can be purchased ($1), which will allow you to wear your hat tomorrow. You MUST have it visible and it MUST be school appropriate.

Singled Out IS TONIGHT !! Starting at 7 p.m.  It's $5 to play and $3 to watch. 

WEDNESDAY, come see the excellent talent that we have right here at our school. The show will begin a 6 p.m. If you want to plan ahead and get your tickets early, tickets will be sold during lunch on WEDNESDAY.

THURSDAY, come to the Large Gym for Big Base Game at 7:30 p.m. It's $5 to participate and $2 to come watch !!

Have you donated your cash vote for pie in the face? Next week, Student Council is hosting a Relay for Life - ALMOST THERE - assembly. It's there that ONE of the candidates will be pied in the face. Who will it be? Mr. Orth, Mr. Monson, Mrs. Winter, Mrs. Lunch, Officer Hilyar or Mr. Skov? Stop by the Relay table at lunch and place your cash vote. Whoever has the most money in their jar will be PIED!

Students starting today -  If you are not assigned a locker you should not be using one.  Lockers not assigned will be cleared out and ziptied.

Robotics is having their School Open House from 3:10 - 4:30 in the tech ed department tomorrow and their community open house from 6:30 - 8:00 in the cafeteria as well.

Attention Model United Nations delegates: Now that March is just around the corner, Model UN is gearing up. Check your school email for country and committee assignments, as well as links to the Study Guide and all working documents.

The Warrior swim and dive team competed in the Section 3AA championships last week. Zak Lao and Connor Winkelhake posted top 8 finishes. Zak finished 6th in diving and Connor finished 6th in the 100 yard breaststroke. Andrew Gotham finished 13th and Max Frisch finished 20th in diving. Wyatt Cook and Jake Tschida both turned in personal best swims in the 100 yard butterfly consolation finals. Winkelhake, Cook, and Tschida teamed up with Carl Strohoffer and Fin Gustafson to turn in team best relay performances. Overall, a very strong performance for the Warrior swim and dive team.

Attention to any boys or girls interested in participating in golf this Spring. There will be an informational meeting Wednesday 2/26 at 3:30. The boys meeting will be in coach Sebastian's room C311 and the girls meeting will be Coach Kienitz's room C313. Bring a friend.

TOMORROW'S THEME: Dress like a staff member day!! 

The Talent Show is tomorrow!! It starts at 6 p.m. and it's $8 to watch!! Come check out what AMAZING talent we have at Henry Sibley High School! 

The Sadie Hawkins dance is Saturday!! If you have an outside guest coming, YOU MUST, have your form turned into the Activities Office or faxed to Mrs. Erchul no later than Thursday by 3:00 p.m. The dance is $5 and the theme is 80's, but don't let the theme stop you from coming. STILL COME! Don't have a date? No pressure, because you don't have to have one!

TOMORROW is PURPLE OUT !! Wear purple and spread awareness for our upcoming Relay for Life event. If you are wanting a purple Relay for Life shirts, they will be sold at lunch for $10 !!

TODAY is the last day to put money in the jars during lunch to see who will be PIED IN THE FACE during our Relay for Life - ALMOST THERE - assembly. The candidates to be pied in the face are Mr. Orth, Mr. Monson, Mrs. Winter, Mrs. Lunch, Officer Hilyar and Mr. Skov. Who will it be?

Due to conferences there will be no ewarriors after school today. Saturday Sibley Overwatch takes on St. Thomas Academy at the Target Center. Follow the live stream on Twitch @ MNVL starting at 11 AM.

Attention all varsity baseball players. Today after school is your last call to pick up your cloth, cap and Fundraising. See Mr McCarthy in NC Room A211. 

Attention all 9th grade and 10th grade baseball players. You can begin to pick up your caps and jerseys tomorrow, Friday Feb 28. The cost is $40.

-All Junior Varsity and Varsity hockey players in Grades 9, 10, and 11 must sign up for an Exit Meeting with the Coaches for today if you did not do so yesterday.  A sign-up sheet is posted outside of the Athletic Office.  All meetings will take place at the arena.
-In addition, ALL high school hockey players should report to the Arena to clean their locker stall and the locker room.

All lockers in the boys and girls locker rooms need to be cleaned out by the end of the day today.  After school all locks will be cut off and items donated so make sure if you are currently using a locker, that is cleared out today by 3:15.

If you like to build things, why not build a high tech gocart. Supermileage club will be meeting in the auto shop today at 3:15. All are welcome.
