Today is Day A

Seniors, a rep from the University of Minnesota is coming to Sibley on Friday, December 14th, during 4th hour to give a presentation about resources and financial aid at the university. If you are considering attending the U of M Twin Cities, sign up in the guidance office to attend this presentation.

Please join the Henry Sibley Jazz Bands at the annual Swing Dance on Saturday, December 15th at the Thompson Park Activity Center from 7-10pm. Live music and tons of fun!

Today is Day B

Reminder...The Activity bus leaves each day at 5:30 sharp!!  Students not on time will need to secure their own ride.

Congratulations to the girls basketball team on their 67-46 win over Richfield last night! Next up for the warriors is at Bloomington Jefferson on Friday.

Book Club will meet in A241 tomorrow at 7:45!

Come out tonight to support your boys basketball team as they take on Rosemount. All 4 teams will be playing, and the varsity game tips at 7 o'clock. All students are invited to be a part of our loud and proud student section.

Come support the girl's basketball team tonight as they travel to Richfield to battle the Spartans.  A chance to see history as Tori Nelson is 28 points away 2,000!!

The Sibley Gymnastics team is having a fundraiser tonight at Qdoba’s from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Please mention Henry Sibley Gymnastics when ordering.  Thanks for your support!

Registration closes tonight for this Friday's ski club trip to Afton Alps, so if you want to go, take care of business.  If you have questions, talk to Mr. Skov.

Link Crew and Freshmen:  Tonight is the night for Snow and Movie Night. The fun starts at 3:30 after school. Bring your sleds and winter gear! After sledding we'll be enjoying hot chocolate and a movie in Warrior Hall!

NHS, Almas, and Student Council are holding a dance this Saturday December 8 from 8-10. Wear your neon and be prepared to dance your heart out!

MODEL UNITED NATIONS PACKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FROM MR LAUX, IN THE FRENCH ROOM.  THIS YEAR, REGISTRATION IS MOSTLY ONLINE UNLESS YOU'RE APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP. PLEASE CHECK WITH MR. LAUX FOR MORE DETAILS OR EMAIL MRS. FOX WITH QUESTIONS.

The boys basketball team is back in action tonight on the road against section rival Eagan at 7 o'clock. Be sure to come out on Saturday at 1pm for the Warriors first home game against St. Louis Park. We hope to see you there.

Come support the mighty Warrior Women basketball team as they battle Rosemount for youth night at 7:00. The count down to 2000 points for Tori Nelson begins...currently at 1,956!!!

It was a clean sweep for Henry Sibley last night as the Varsity, JV and B-Squad Teams all took home FIRST place in last nights Metro East Jazz Meet!  Congratulations to these incredible athletes as they take one step closer to their goal!  Great job!

There's snow and the runs at Afton are open, so join Sibley Downhill club for their first trip Friday, December 14.  You can register through Community Education.  If you have questions, talk to Mr. Skov.

The Dance Teams are competing tonight at Simley High School and they could use your support in the stands!  Competition begins at 7:00pm!  Let's fill those stands with Warrior Fans in a sea of red!  

The boys basketball teams open their seasons at Stillwater tonight. The Warriors are led this season by seniors Caden Christiansen, Brandon Loucks, Elijah Lonetree, Ben Munkelwitz, Malik Spearman, AJ Stringer, Ty Zubulake, and Grady Clem. The Warriors first home game will be this Saturday at 1pm against St. Louis Park.

Congratulations to the Debate team in an excellent season. At the state tournament this weekend the Novice team of Eleanor Richards and Lily Gleason advanced to the final rounds with the 6th best record in the tournament. Congratulations on this great accomplishment.

Congratulations to the following wrestlers who placed this weekend: Owen Langfield 2nd, Josh Phillip's 4th, Payton Weber-Rolfes 4th, Enock Moindi 5th, and Jaquin Mancha 6th.

Today is Day B

A very special congratulations to Noah Russell, 11th grade trumpet player from Wind Ensemble. Noah has been selected for the very prestigious University of Minnesota High School Honor Band. 
Hundreds of accomplished band students from the Upper Mid-West auditioned for this fine ensemble. Noah was one of 17 trumpet players selected for the Honor Band. Noah is the only junior from Henry Sibley to ever achieve this accomplishment. Good luck on February 8-10th. Congratulations Noah!

Congrats to the St. Paul Sibley Riveters on their 6-5 win against Moose Lake last night. Come support your Sibley hockey girls as they take on Fairmont tonight at home at 7.
